BROMO TENGGER SEMERU ADVENTURE

Day 1 : Arrival – Transfer to Ranu Pane (D)
Pick up service at Juanda Airport Surabaya and transfer to Tumpang village. Then we drive to Ranu Pane by 4WD vehicle and have a rest at Climbers Hut for stay overnight.

Day 2 : Ranu Pane – Ranu Kumbolo (B,L,D)
Early morning after breakfast, start trekking to Ranu Kumbolo, take a rest and have lunch while enjoying volcanic lake with panorama of Mt. Argopuro and Mt. Semeru in background. Then, trekking to Kalimati (Dead River), the last stop point to reach Peak of Semeru which has beautiful savanna that located right on the foot of Mahameru Peak (the highest peak in Java) and camping to stay overnight.

Day 3 : Peak of Mahameru – Ranu Kumbolo (B,L,D)
In the dark about 2 am you will start climbing on rough ground, steep hike about an hour to Arcopodo. Having trekking poles will be valuable to help you balances with the movement. Most people reach the summit about 3 hours, but it depends on everybody’s ability to keep going. It’s been advised by National Park to decent the summit before mid day due the gas produces by continuing smokes of Mt. Semeru. Then we descend from summit back to Kalimati (camp) to have breakfast and to rest for a long morning trek. After lunch then continues trek back to Ranu Kumbolo Lake, overnight in tent.

Day 4 : Ranu Kumbolo  – Mt. Sawur (B,L,D)
After having simple breakfast at Ranu Kumbolo, back to Ranu Pane and driving to Mt. Sawur via Mt. Ayak – Ayak by Jeep / small truck. At Mt. Sawur we can see volcanoes and lava flow clearly even in the night. It also for Semeru Monitoring Center for watching Mt. Semeru activity when erupted.

Day 5 : Mt. Sawur – Ranu Pane – Cemorolawang (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we back to Ranu Kumbolo and stop for lunch then trekking to Ranu Pane village. Arrive in Ranu Pane and we proceed you to Cemorolawang by 4WD car crossing savanna. Check-in hotel and stay for overnight.

Day 6 : Mt. Penanjakan – Bromo – Juanda (B)
Wake up call at 3.30 and drive to Penanjakan to see beautiful sunrise with background Mt. Bromo and Peak of Semeru then driving down to sea of sand and climb up Mt. Bromo. Return back to Guesthouse for breakfast and check-out then we drop you to Juanda Airport Surabaya.
